Disaster Grant Administration & grant Management

When disaster strikes, our team assists local, state, and nonprofit entities in applying for, receiving, and administering federal disaster grant funding. Our end-to-end management and support of the grants process will enable your organization to distribute critical funding to those that need it most and to close out grants efficiently, all while adhering to federal and local compliance requirements. We bring experience and expertise in a wide variety of federal aid and disaster relief programs including FEMA Public Assistance (PA), FEMA Individual Assistance (IA), FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP), and HUD Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG). 

Emergency staff augmentation

Our team understands that time is of the essence in any disaster and stands ready to staff positions critical to your response and recovery efforts. Our trained professionals possess the skills and capacity to assist with response work “in the field” as disaster recovery case managers, project managers, outreach specialists, emergency shelter staff, and other emergency response personnel. We can also augment key positions alongside your entity’s emergency managers or financial directors in the Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs). 

disaster Program implementation & Project Management

We drive the delivery and general management of your entity’s response and recovery programs from start to finish. Our assistance ranges from completing preliminary damage assessments and cost and scope estimates, to crafting overall response strategies and public outreach documents, to creating post-disaster reports and long-term mitigation plans. Throughout the lifecycle of the disaster, our experts also provide crucial coordination with government agencies for your organization. Our guidance on the design and implementation of key processes and procedures enables expedited program delivery and long-term success. 

HUD CONSOLIDATED PLANS & TRAINING

We provide comprehensive support in developing HUD-compliant Consolidated Plans and IDIS/eCon Planning Suite training for CDBG, HOME, HTF, ESG, and HOPWA funding grantees. Led by industry veterans from the original HUD IDIS/eCon Planning Suite training team, our experts offer nationwide workshops and technical assistance to help grantees simplify and complete HUD requirements. Our services include: HUD Consolidated Plans and Annual Action Plans (including CAPER, CHAS, and citizen participation support), IDIS/eCon Planning Suite training, AI and AFH planning documents, and compliance-focused introductory courses for CDBG, HOME, ESG, HOPWA, Environmental Review, and Section 3.
